Job Title: Sr. Cloud QA Engineer

We are in an accelerated growth phase and seeking highly motivated. accomplished and driven Cloud QA Test Engineer to join our expanding team. As part of a collaborative cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and products, contributing from conception to deployment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed test plans and execute test cases through automation and manual testing.
• Write integration tests for backend applications and tests for RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Working with cross functional teams on a daily basis.
• Project management testing priorities.
• Participating in a weekly project & bug triage meeting.
• Communicating with stakeholders if additional testing time is required.
• Define testing strategies by working with product development and other teams across the company.
• Review and challenge product requirement specification, design and functional specification, define test strategy, develop detailed end to end solution test plan and test cases.
• Ability to develop, review and modify Python scripts to enhance test coverage.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Cloud testing and automated test automation of UI/API testing.
• Excellent knowledge of test methodologies.
• Experience with both functional and non-functional testing like Stress and load tests.
• Good knowledge of Web/UI testing and test automation (preferably by using the Playwright framework with Python)
• Familiarity with common test frameworks such as Pytest, or similar.
• Experience working on one of the UI automation tools - Selenium, Playwright.
• Write integration tests for backend applications and tests for RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes-based infrastructure, docker.
• Experience working on Kafka or similar technology.
• Excellent familiarity with Linux command line and knowledge of shell scripting.
• Good debugging skills, experience in identifying root causes of defects through thorough analysis and debugging.
• Experience with design and implementation of test tools for automation. Ability to develop and improve automation scripts.
• Experience with JIRA, Jenkins or similar tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
