Job Description
The Business Intelligence and Data Director is responsible for leading the development and implementation of data-driven strategies that enhance decision-making across Sage North America. This role involves overseeing data management, analytics, and reporting initiatives to support business objectives. This role will leverage data across multiple platforms to drive insights for our Sales, Marketing, Product and Executive teams. This role will be responsible for providing insight and analytics to make better decisions and support dynamic stakeholders whose needs can change/adapt over time.
A successful candidate will be passionate about organizing, analyzing and interpreting data in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and be able to communicate implications with business and technical stakeholders at all levels. Behind what the users see, build the architecture and technical infrastructure to support business critical reporting, data processes, and analytics.
This is a hybrid role - three days per week from the Atlanta (Ponce City) office.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the business intelligence strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate with senior management to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for success.
Data Management:
Maintain data integrity of a single source of truth in data analytic environment.
Establish BI architecture and BI stack to support Sage North America reporting needs across multiple data sources
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and business intelligence professionals.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Own requirements for business intelligence and reporting needs for various organizations.
Direct the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights.
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate business intelligence tools and systems.
Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy) and data management systems (Oracle DB and/or Snowflake).
Experience working with Salesforce would be an asset
