Job Summary:
As the Senior Operations Manager, you will have managerial responsibilities for all warehouse and office staff within an assigned business segment at our Eastvale, CA location. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective functioning of the warehouse operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Job Summary:
As the Senior Operations Manager, you will have managerial responsibilities for all warehouse and office staff within an assigned business segment at our Eastvale, CA location. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective functioning of the warehouse operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Principal Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
- Strategically manage assigned area of responsibility in compliance with company's policies and vision
- Directly responsible for all employment decisions within assigned area of responsibility (this is included in the workforce management section)
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse and office staff, providing guidance, support, and training
- Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
- Evaluate the performance of the staff and provide feedback for their professional development.
- Any other responsibilities deemed necessary for the assigned area or business segment
Customer Service
- Respond to customer emails and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively
Compliance and Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with established processes, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Identify and execute Lean opportunities to eliminate waste and improve operational efficiency
- Drive safety improvements across the warehouse operations
- Identify and execute Lean opportunities to effectively eliminate waste, and drive efficiencies
Workforce Management
- Optimize staffing levels to maximize productivity and minimize overtime
- Make employment decisions and manage the recruitment process for the warehouse location
- Directly responsible for all employment decisions within assigned area of responsibility
Performance Monitoring
- Evaluate the operational effectiveness of the warehouse and office staff
- Set and maintain productivity expectations, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Direct workforce to ensure compliance to established processes & policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role for 3+ years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics operations
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Physical Requirements:
- The Senior Operations Manager role may involve physical activities such as walking, standing, and occasionally lifting and carrying objects up to a certain weight
- The role may require spending extended periods working in an office utilizing computer systems and other equipment
- Excellent vision and manual dexterity for operating computer systems, analyzing data, and reviewing operational documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to handle occasional stress and pressure associated with managing operational challenges and meeting deadlines
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when necessary to address urgent operational needs
