This position will report to the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Center of Excellence, working for the Weather Radar Team. Our premier product is the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS). Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be instrumental in designing, planning and coordinating work teams, as well as providing technical guidance to our customers. You will also generate innovative solutions; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software architecture and development
  • Implementation of Software Change Requests
  • Lead requirements decomposition in DOORs
  • Lead Software and product integration
  • Define and incorporate new features and functions.
  • Support Verification and Validation team.
  • Analytical skills & software development skills

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 5-7 years' experience in Aerospace or similar engineering field.
