You will play a critical role in understanding customer needs, optimizing product positioning, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and product development to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Drive a consistent cadence of innovation and service offerings.
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SIMCO's calibration services.
- Develop deep insights into customer needs and market trends in the biomedical and aerospace industries, focusing on quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize product features, enhancements, and releases based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.
Pricing Strategy
- Lead pricing strategy development and execution for SIMCO's services, and offers to drive growth, profits, and customers.
- Conduct pricing analysis, competitive benchmarking, and value-based pricing models to optimize profitability and adoption.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations to refine pricing structures and evaluate the financial impact of pricing changes.
Product Marketing
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to drive product adoption and growth.
- Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that resonate with target audiences and differentiate SIMCO's offerings in the marketplace.
- Create product collateral, case studies, and other marketing materials to support sales efforts.
- Lead competitive analysis to inform product positioning, pricing, and market segmentation.
Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement
- Work closely with the sales team to provide training, tools, and support for effective product positioning and selling.
- Develop and manage customer feedback through frequent engagement with customers and our customer advisory board.
- Lead engagement with key customers and industry events, representing SIMCO's product vision and gathering insights from the field.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Development, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on product vision and successful execution of product launches.
- Drive alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Product Development to maximize market impact.
- Develop metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of product strategies and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing or product management roles, with a focus on B2B, SaaS and/or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of the calibration, test, or measurement industry, especially for biomedical and aerospace sectors is a plus.
- Proven track record of driving successful go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-facing messaging.
- Experience in data-driven decision-making and using metrics to improve product and marketing outcomes.
