The Senior Associate will play a vital client-facing role in our Patient Analytics business unit by managing and conducting various patient analytics projects and engagements to drive commercial success for our top-tier pharmaceutical clients. We are currently seeking a Senior Associate, Pharma Advanced Analytics to join our Commercial Analytics team. The Senior Associate will play a vital client-facing role in our Patient Analytics business unit by managing and conducting various patient analytics projects and engagements to drive commercial success for our top-tier pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate for this role will lead and drive successful project completion by closely collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a high-paced, high-pressure, full client-facing and cross functional environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct patient health analytics, including patient adherence analyses & persistence analysis via APLD by applying suitable analytical techniques (statistical and machine learning methods) to understand potential patient switches and treatment patterns, treatment adherence, patient survival analysis and patient assistance and intervention program effectiveness analyses across various disease areas, which can include oncology, dermatology, diabetes, autoimmune, and /or cardiovascular disease areas
- Conduct Control/Test Analysis (or A/B testing)
- Perform descriptive and predictive analytics using real world EMR and APLD data and provide insights into patient journey, decision making process and health outcomes.
- Drive business insights through KPI dashboards on key patient-centric programs on various distribution channels that provide monthly/quarterly business review framework and analysis to assimilate and evaluate brand performance across the commercial organization.
- Participate in the development of a holistic, cross-functional point of view to address specific ad hoc sales and marketing or cross-functional business questions requiring integration of output from managed markets analytics, patient service analytics, and real world EMR data analytics.
- Develop forecasting models (demand and patient) using key business insights from various markets to support commercial excellence.
- Provide support to commercial leadership teams through ad-hoc analyses that may be needed to help facilitate field execution of sales and brand direction/strategy.
- Mentor and coach junior associates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor"s degree in a Statistics, Economics, or other healthcare-related major (quantitative background preferred)
- 3+ years conducting and managing patient analytics or health care commercial analytics experience
- Knowledge of various data pharma commercial data sources -- IMS Rx and Claims data (Xponent, Xponent Plantrak, DDD and HCOS) or Symphony Rx and Claims data (Prescriber, Prescriber/Payer, PHAST) + MMIT or Fingertip Formulary Data + APLD Data.
- Demonstrated success working in Brand Analytics & Promo Mix Modeling with APLD Data.
- Proficient with one or more tools i.e., SAS/Python/SQL or R with strong statistical analysis or programming skills.
- Proficient problem solving, coordination, strategic planning, quality management, project management skills.
- Strong documentation skills; highly accurate, managing numerous projects simultaneously, and meeting strict deadlines.
