Salary: $105,000-$125,000 (based on experience) + eligibility for a 15% annual bonus incentive

Join a premier healthcare provider at a 238-bed acute care hospital in Panama City, FL , and lead as the Director of Medical-Surgical Services . In this role, you'll oversee a 42-bed Med-Surg unit, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective patient care while driving operational excellence and financial stability. This is a leadership position reporting to the ACNO and CNO, offering opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for planning, management, and implementation of department goals aligned with facility objectives.
Enhance the department through performance improvement initiatives and efficient resource utilization.
Develop systems to ensure seamless patient flow through the continuum of care.
Facilitate comprehensive education programs for patients and staff.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and services to improve care delivery.
Lead multi-disciplinary patient care conferences for high-risk or medically complex patients.
Oversee staffing, hiring, and performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with Affirmative Action/EEO regulations.
Direct short- and long-term program development to achieve facility objectives.Qualifications
Active RN License (Florida license required).
Bachelor's Degree Required | Advanced Nursing Degree Preferred.
2-3 Years of Recent Acute Care Leadership Experience (Manager level or higher) in an adult inpatient setting.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 30 days of hire.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.Unit Overview
