As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 14 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Squamish People have access to necessary programs and services.
About The Opportunity
Working as an integral part of the Ayas Menmen Child and Family Services Department, this position reports directly to the Manager of Delegated Services & Jordans Principle, this role is an administrative position providing support to the Jordan's Principle program. This role is responsible for the coordination and completion of administrative & clerical support to the Jordans Principle program that assists First Nations children and parents/guardians with intake, assessment and coordination to support in navigating health, social and education services. This position will support with coordinating payments for approved requests through the Approved Request Contingency Fund Initiative (ARC). This position liaises with Indigenous requestors, ensures accuracy in funding processes, data collection, reporting, and provides essential support to the Jordan's Principle Service Coordinator. This position is required to work across Jordan's Principle, a program for People Services (Yuustway Health & wellness, Education (EET), Ayas Menmen Social) addressing social, education and health needs of children. What You Bring
Salary: $ 76,499 - $ 85,634 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
