JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for driving the success of NCLH's payment operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. Lead extensive and complex accounting and system related projects. Ensure the smooth and efficient processing of payments across all NCLH brands.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement the strategic direction for credit card and payment acceptance, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing payment processes to identify inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Lead and participate in complex, cross-functional projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with payment processing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
- Analyze financial data to measure the impact of payment initiatives, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiate favorable contracts, and ensure optimal performance.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of payment professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including finance, operations, and technology, to ensure alignment and support for payment initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in payment processes. Act as a liaison between Accounting and IT on projects associated with payment networks and processors including new and updated integrations, new features, and new partnerships.
- Identify and implement innovative payment solutions to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
- Perform additional job related duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Accounting, Finance or related field
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in payment processing, including credit card and alternative payment methods.
- Cruise industry experience a plus.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Proven track record of leading successful payment initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of payment industry trends, regulations, and security standards (PCI DSS, EMV, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of financial systems and processes, including ERP systems and payment gateways.
- Experience in managing complex payment projects, including budget management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Experience in analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Experience in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Experience in developing and implementing payment strategies.
- Experience in managing payment teams and developing talent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
