Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments.
- Handle trust and estate administration matters, including probate proceedings and fiduciary accounting.
- Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies.
- Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop tailored wealth preservation strategies.
- Stay up to date on evolving trusts & estates laws and tax regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the state bar.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in trusts & estates, with a focus on tax implications.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
