Avantis Resources is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join a highly respected and dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax planning strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and sophisticated matters while growing within a collaborative environment. Expanding practice to support our Florida offices (Boca Raton, Miami, or West Palm Beach)

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and review comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related instruments.
• Handle trust and estate administration matters, including probate proceedings and fiduciary accounting.
• Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning strategies.
• Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop tailored wealth preservation strategies.
• Stay up to date on evolving trusts & estates laws and tax regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the state bar.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in trusts & estates, with a focus on tax implications.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
