DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As the Site Readiness Program Manager (Economic Development Consultant 2), you will have the exciting opportunity to lead and enhance the site readiness program. Your focus will be increasing the volume and quality of large industrial sites, positioning them as prime locations for investment from new and existing businesses.
In this pivotal role, you will coordinate and administer various initiatives within the grants division and the office of business financing. These initiatives are essential for promoting community and economic well-being throughout the state, including the impactful PA strategic investments to enhance sites (PA SITES) program. Your innovative contributions will drive positive growth and development within our communities. You will be responsible for developing clear guidelines for targeted grant programs, effectively managing a talented team, and creating comprehensive program documentation. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- In-office days Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- Telework days would be Mondays and Fridays
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Economic Development Consultant 1; or
- Four years of professional experience in economic planning and development programs, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have at least one year of professional experience with site development activities.
- You must have at least one year of commercial real estate experience.
- You must have at least one year of infrastructure development experience.
- You must have at least one year of permitting and land development planning experience.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
