Job Description: Avantis Resources is seeking a mid to senior-level Real Estate Construction Associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts related to real estate development, with a focus on construction, design, and development agreements. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate construction matters within a collaborative environment.

Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission). Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in real estate construction law, preferably within a large law firm or reputable boutique firm. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration. Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively. Fluency in Spanish is a plus but is not required.

- Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts, design agreements, and other related documents for real estate development projects.
- Advise clients on risk management, compliance, and regulatory issues pertaining to construction and development.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Conduct and oversee due diligence processes related to construction and development projects.
- Stay current on evolving construction laws, building codes, and industry standards to provide clients with up-to-date advice.
