We're seeking a future team member in the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer I to join our team. This role is in and will operate in a hybrid in-office model and will require the candidate to be in office 2/3 days weekly.
You'll be joining the Loans Enablement Platform Engineering The team's responsibilities are multifaceted and wide-ranging, encompassing the design and execution of innovative features, as well as the seamless integration of the platform with other systems and applications. This work is instrumental in maintaining the platform's performance and ensuring its continuous evolution to meet the dynamic needs of the stakeholders.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team, including product owner, business analysts, scrum masters, front-end and back-end developers
- Design, develop and implement microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring code is modular, testable and re-usable
- Design, develop and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript/Java ensuring an exceptional user experience
- Ensure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end components
- Utilize your expertise in NoSQL DB (CosmosDB) to design, develop and optimize data models for seamless storage within a distributed system
- Create RESTFul APIs (gRPC) to enable smooth communication between microservices and external systems
- Conduct regular code reviews, unit testing, CI and maintain high code quality and reliability.
To be successful, we're seeking interest in the following areas:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 5-7 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
- Strong expertise in Core / Advanced Java and OOP (5+Years)
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript(3+Years)
- Experience in developing and deploying microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Data or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of JIRA, Junit and Apache Kafka are preferred
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL DB (CosmosDB, MongoDB)
- In-depth knowledge of REST API principles, HTTP protocol
- Familiarity with containerization tools and cloud platforms
- Solid grasp of Git, CI/CD, Agile principles
