Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 3rd - 5th year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our Sacramento office. Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career. Litigation experience is important, and wage and hour substantive background is a plus. Practice includes employment class and individual litigation, unfair competition, and representing employers with respect to employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, and employment agreements, along with other labor and employment issues. The candidate must have strong academic credentials and be a member of the California State Bar.

Greenberg Traurig's Labor & Employment Group provides national and international corporations with strategic legal advice on all matters concerning the employment relationship. With nearly 200 practitioners around the globe, we offer national and international organizations strategic and practical legal services that are focused on maximizing human resource potential. We are trial lawyers and regularly try cases to verdict.Our Labor & Employment trial team is regularly called upon to handle complex, bet-the-company cases and has taken three cases to the U.S. Supreme Court in the past 10 years. Our experience in class and collective litigation is wide-ranging, having handled over 100 such cases in the last three years alone. Our experience with the courts, counsel, and judges across our global footprint that are routinely involved in such matters gives our clients access to critical information utilized to aggressively and efficiently respond to and defend such matters. Our skilled Labor & Employment Group has in-depth experience structuring corporate transactions aimed at maximizing managerial flexibility and labor efficiency, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, trying labor arbitrations throughout the country, and assisting employers to lead and manage in ways that best fit their cultures.

The expected pay range for this position is:
$215,000-$250,000 annually
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
