Work arrangements: 3 Days in office - Mondays , Tuesdays and Wednesdays (Mandatory)
Contract Duration: 03/03/2025 to 10/31/2025
Reason: Required to work on 13DG regulatory requirement
Business group: Global Compliance GBM&T Canada
Ensure all activities conducted comply with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures, and support the business needs of the Monitoring Program within the Global Compliance team at The Bank
Project: Building a beneficial ownership reporting tool, helping to capture the business requirements, testing, documentation and work with all stakeholders involved. Project stage: Testing
Typical Day in Role:
Develop a deep understanding of the complexity of the beneficial ownership regulations and internal processes to enhance monitoring programs.
Conduct information gathering workshops with users to understand business requirements.
Document and review the business requirements with the Tech team and external vendor(s). Provide clarification when needed.
Creation of test cases; conduct User Acceptance Testing and document the outcome.
Create and deliver exit UAT documents
Support implementing technical solutions for Compliance monitoring programs as part of a wider team.
Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders.
Research developing trends and best practices and determine implications for using proposed technologies to meet business unit strategy.
Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Any other duties as assigned.
Must Have Skills:
8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst professional.
At least 5 years of experience specializing in business processes and systems including documenting future state business processes and writing user stories with detailed user acceptance criteria, data mapping, business object modeling, interviewing and user interface design and testing.
5 years of experience in the Financial services industry; specifically with good understanding of various financial products in Capital Markets, including derivatives (e.g. Futures, Options and Warrants), Equity/Preferred Equity, Bond/Convertible Bond, ADR and Fund (e.g. Mutual Fund and Close-end Fund).
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA and Confluence.
Education:
Post-secondary graduate of Business, Technology or related discipline.
