Technical Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager to join our team on a long-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background in deploying network hardware who is looking to transition into project management. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of SLX/Extreme hardware.
Responsibilities:

• Project Management (80%):
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to deploy SLX/Extreme hardware.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule.
  • ct as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues.
  • Track project milestones and ensure resource allocation aligns with project goals.
• Technical Support (20%):
  • Provide hands-on technical oversight during deployments, including basic troubleshooting.
  • Log into network devices to verify functionality (e.g., checking port status).
  • Support team members with technical escalations as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of technical experience deploying network hardware.
• Basic understanding of networking and the ability to troubleshoot device issues.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with SLX/Extreme Hardware
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Python or Ansible is a plus but not required.

• Occasional after-hours support may be required, though this is rare.
• No specific certification or educational requirements.
