Corporate Associate Attorney (Private Equity)

Avantis Resources is seeking a Corporate Associate with a minimum of 4 years of transactional experience to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital financing, and general corporate matters. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and venture capital financings, including drafting and negotiating relevant agreements.
• Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and securities law matters.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective transactional strategies.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence processes, identifying potential risks and advising clients accordingly.
• Stay current on evolving corporate laws and regulations to provide clients with up-to-date advice.

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Admission to the Florida Bar, in good standing.

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in corporate transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
