Job Title: Medical Physicist

Job Specialty: Radiation Oncology

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Guaranteed Hours: Full-time

Experience: Minimum of 2 years within the specialty

License: Must be ABR certified or eligible

Certifications: Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

Must-Have: Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related field

Job Description:

- Provide expertise in radiation oncology physics.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of radiation.
- Collaborate with oncologists, dosimetrists, and other medical staff.
- Participate in the development of treatment plans for cancer patients.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct quality assurance tests for radiation therapy equipment.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiation oncology techniques.
- Assist with research and development projects as needed.
- Train and support medical staff in radiation safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to radiation therapy.
