Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing insurance companies in various defense matters, ensuring that their interests are protected. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance law and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases
• Conduct legal research and analysis of relevant laws and regulations
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration
• Prepare for and attend trials, presenting evidence and arguments in court
• Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed about case status and developments
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense
• Strong understanding of insurance law and civil litigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in related fields such as employment and labor law, business law, or personal injury is a plus
