TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
REQUIREMENTS:
The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $110,00-$120,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular inspections/preventative maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing elevators, alterations equipment, audio/video and lighting.
- Overseeing the housekeeping contract
- CAM responsibilities
- In house set up and breakdown for events in collaboration with corporate.
- Maintain and repair spa facilities, including four showers, to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards.
- Oversee the indoor landscaping, ensuring plant health and aesthetics.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and customers.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and service.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in budget management for maintenance and repair operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of experience in building engineering or facilities maintenance, preferably in a luxury retail or hospitality environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime.
- Must be available for on-call emergencies and weekend shifts as needed.
- Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and energy management systems.
- Knowledge of landscaping maintenance and care.
- Certifications preferred but not mandatory:
- Universal EPA Certification
- OSHA 30-hour Safety Training
- Building Operator Certification (BOC) or equivalent
- HVAC Technician Certification
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) preferred.
