JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for oversight of all aspects of NCLH's financial operations, including disbursements, cash management, and financial reporting. Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payments and maintaining strong internal controls. Partner closely with various departments, including IT, Treasury, and Operations, to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance financial performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of all company disbursements, including wire transfers, electronic payments, travel agent commissions, passenger refunds, and other payments.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks, including segregation of duties, access controls, and reconciliation procedures.
- Lead and coordinate the implementation and ongoing maintenance of financial systems, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Review of monthly journal entries associated with dispute transactions.
- Review monthly balance sheet accounts to maintain accurate account balances and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform monthly and quarterly analysis, review, and preparation of variance explanations of actual results to plan, forecast, and prior period actual results related to Financial Services accounts.
- Manage relationships with collection agencies, payment processors, and other financial service providers.
- Lead and develop team of financial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Digi, Operations, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for financial initiatives.
- Drive controls and operational excellence, including SOX oversight and controls and compliance.
- Perform other job related duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Accounting or related field of study
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on disbursements and payments.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Requires in-depth knowledge of NCLH's reservation systems and guest relations tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles is essential, including cash, accounts receivable, and payable management, as well as their impact on the P&L.
- Experience with credit card chargebacks and bad debt collections is beneficial.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial processes and projects.
- Experience in implementing and managing financial systems and tools.
- Experience in analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Experience in managing teams and developing talent.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Experience in negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
