Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Infusion
Job Duration: 16 weeks (13 weeks is OK, but 16 weeks preferred)
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 1 year, no first-timers
License: OR license required, can submit with it pending
Certifications: Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification required
Must-Have: EPIC charting experience
Job Description:
- Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in outpatient clinic infusion.
- Gyn/Oncology experience preferred.
- Nurse navigation or care coordination experience preferred.
- Position will not float between units.
- No on-call or weekend duties required.
- Block schedules are not required and 48 hours are not approved.
- Expected to work in a clinic-based setting with specific ratios.
- Providers may need to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility.
- Complete 40 hours of non-billable orientation.
- Committed to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Required to have two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
- Modules are completed pre-start and annually, with an average of 16 hours spent on them.
- Return staff policy mandates a 3-month gap between permanent and travel terms.
- Communication devices required for assignment duties will be provided or reimbursed if not provided.
