[MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Avanade Inc. is seeking Senior Dynamics 365 F&SCM Technical Architects in Raleigh, NC to lead large-scale, complex, and strategically important projects, with the freedom to use your own discernment and methodologies. In this role, you will: work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations implementations in a development lead role, as well as technical and functional experience; develop for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (F&O), X++ and MorphX Solutions; work with an object-oriented development language, including .NET, and programming methodologies, structures, and concepts; establish global ERP architecture by integrating solutions across functional lines; support the sales team in shaping deals, with accountability for overall estimates; recommend the right Microsoft Dynamics 365 software and solutions for clients' needs; oversee the project team, establish and track achievements, coordinate actions, seek expert advice, handle open issues, and contribute to team meetings and reports; define how we measure business and operations success and validate ERP system performance; support clients on ERP standards and prepare them for using their ERP solution by setting training programs and redefining new roles and responsibilities; and grow the network through educational opportunities, build and maintain personal and business networks, and join professional organizations. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic and international) is expected up to 80% of the time. A qualified applicant must live within reasonable commuting distance of Raleigh, NC.

Skills and experiences

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management Information Systems, or closely related technical field, plus at least seven (7) years of experience as a Dynamics 365 F&SCM Technical Architect, or in a similar role within the IT or IT consulting industry. A qualified applicant's experience must include: 5 years of experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, performing full life cycle D365FO implementations in a hands-on, technical and system administration capacity and leading practices, benchmarking, and peer company environments; 5 years of experience working with Dynamics Lifecycle Services or Azure Services (i.e., Active Directory, Virtual Machines, and/or Web Services) to support implementations and/or production instances of Microsoft family of business applications; 4 years of experience performing Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Services; 2 years of experience performing database administration and maintenance on SQL Server database systems (on-premises and Azure); 5 years of experience conducting ERP infrastructure and environment design, deployment, and maintenance (on-premises and Cloud) and the creation of related documentation; 5 years of experience with the following platforms: AX/D365 development tools, including X++ and MorphX, AX 2009 / 2012, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations; 3 years of experience leading the technical aspects of solution deployment, ensuring successful legacy application data migration to the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system using DMF, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database and ADF; and 3 years of experience with low-code/no-code application development and leveraging these approaches to optimize solution delivery.
