Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

SUMMARY: The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will evaluate patients preoperatively and develop anesthesia care plan. The CRNA will directly administer anesthesia and reevaluate patients postoperatively working under the supervision of a Board certified or Board eligible Anesthesiologist.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a nurse anesthesia program accredited by Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Program.
Licensure: Current Arkansas RN and CRNA licenses in good standing or Compact State and current certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Experience: Minimum of one year ICU experience is preferred.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

May be subject to inside environmental conditions, hazards (including electrical currents and exposure to high heat and chemicals) and infectious diseases. May have to function around prisoners or mental patients.
