SAIC is looking an Engineer to support the US Navy in Patuxent River, MD.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and integration support for the NAVAIR V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275). The V-22 Joint Program Office (PMA-275) is responsible for the cradle-to-grave acquisition, sustainment, development and production of the V-22 Osprey venerable tiltrotor aircraft. The V-22 Osprey is used to support the U.S. Marines, Navy, Air Force and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
NOTE: Position will be located at Patuxent River and tasked to support Common Carriage efforts in Patuxent River, Maryland and Jacksonville, Florida. Significant travel >50%, could be required to Jacksonville, FL or Crane, IN.

- Engineering support and development for electrical and mechanical integration tasking for the identified system
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) and two or more years experience.
- Specific knowledge with regards to integration of electrical and mechanical systems on board fixed wing or rotary aircraft.
- Interim Secret Clearance will be required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- Experience with fight clearance process and Engineering Data Requirements Plans (EDRAP).
- Experience with V22, F16 or F18 systems
