Qualifications:
- Valid Teacher Certification
- A Master's Degree - Type 75 Certificate
- At least three years successful teaching experience
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Supervises: As directed by the Principal
Job Goals:
- To assist the building Principal in establishing and maintaining a positive educational environment conducive to learning and the well-being of each student.
- To support Plano High School's goals, objectives, practices, and policies with the faculty, staff, student, parents, and the school community.
- In the Principal's absence, promote and monitor all aspects of the school's climate including assumption of the responsbilitiy for the implementation and enforcement of all building and Board policies and regulations.
- Supervise student conduct within the school and assit with disciplinary matters and procedures for students. Help maintain appropriate records of the same to coincide with Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS).
- Administer and enforce school rules as they pertain to student attendance.
- Assist the Principal in the general administration of the school.
- Plan and schedule professional development activities in cojunction with the Principal.
- Assist in planning and coordinating benchmarking and progress monitoring students.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the School Improvement Plan.
- Assist in the teacher evaluation process as assigned.
- Assist in the supervision of extra-school and extra-curricular activities.
- Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as the Principal may from time to time assign.
Salary Range: $75,712 - $95,550
