Improvix Technologies is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud solutions for federal IT environments. This hybrid role supports Azure infrastructure, automation, and security while ensuring compliance with federal regulations. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Azure architecture, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, scalable Azure solutions.
- Implement automation using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile practices.
- Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and FISMA.
- Optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience: 5+ years in Azure cloud engineering and DevOps.
- Technical Skills: Azure networking, security (RBAC, Azure AD), Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent.
- Clearance: Active Secret required; Top Secret preferred.
Preferred
- Experience in federal or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud integrations.
- Strong background in cloud security and governance.
