Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the Role

Converge Resources is actively seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with expertise in MEP system design and project management. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring the successful design and implementation of power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Apply engineering principles to electrical circuits, lighting concepts, power systems, and signal systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment, power controls, and communication systems.
  • Perform calculations and analysis for design solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Create detailed plans and specifications using Revit and CAD software.
  • Lead and collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Support business development through proposal development and client interaction.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (from an accredited four-year college/university).
Licensure: Registered Engineer (P.E.); Tennessee licensure preferred.
Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years as an Electrical Engineer (10+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NFPA-70) and other NFPA codes.
  • Experience in healthcare design/engineering (preferred).
    Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and industry regulations.
    Soft Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and team collaboration.
  • Effective client interaction and relationship-building skills.
    Certifications: LEED Accreditation is a plus.
