The Vice President of Sales will report to the SVP, Sales and Client Success and have responsibility for top line revenue growth achieved through sales to both new logos and to existing clients. This position is critical to the company's overall success and the candidate will be materially rewarded for performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of selling technology-enabled revenue cycle management services to health systems and hospitals at or above plan.

What will you provide?
  • Develop and and execute a sales plan for the assigned geography of TX, NM, OK, AR, LA
  • Develop and execute account plans for specific customers and prospective customers
  • Meet or exceed assigned quota of $7M
  • Identify and prioritize target markets of hospitals with a NPR of >$500M
  • Qualify prospects using established criteria
  • Independently generate sufficient qualified leads to achieve your sales target
  • Develop and present customer presentations independently
  • Determine recommended pricing using established criteria and templates
  • Draft and coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) responses
  • Develop and deliver contract proposals
  • Demonstrate skill in contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with client success managers and business leaders to grow existing accounts
  • Embraces and lives-out Aspirion's core values
  • Direct experience crafting, negotiating, and closing deals in excess of $1,000,000
  • Excellent communicator (verbal, written, public speaking) with all levels of the organization
  • Possesses domain knowledge. While not a subject-matter expert, the ideal candidate will be familiar with a revenue cycle managers' pain points and opportunities.
  • Eager to learn and rapidly absorb new concepts
  • Comfortable working in a growing and dynamic environment. Willing and able to put it in the work as opposed to delegating.
  • Hunter mentality. Relishes the challenge of landing new logos.
  • Strong network within the health system and hospital provider revenue cycle community, in particular at the CFO and SVP/VP Revenue Cycle level
  • Strong executive presence plus the ability to establish relationships across all levels of an organization to build a broad base of support
  • Ability to convey key value drivers to obtain buy-in from various stakeholders
  • Comfortable and adept having difficult conversations
  • Ability to persevere through challenges/obstacles. Doesn't get discouraged by setbacks.
  • Up to 60% travel required within the assigned territory of states TX, NM, OK, AR and LA

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years outside sales experience within healthcare revenue cycle technology or service (with ideal call points being hospital CFO's and VPs of Revenue Cycle)
  • Must currently reside in either Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with hospital executives
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads independently
  • Experience utilizing the following Tools: Salesforce, MS Outlook, Work, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator

The US base pay range for this position starts at $150,000 plus a rewarding commission tied to demonstrated sales performance and results. Individual base pay is determined by a number of factors including job-related skills, experience, education, training, etc., and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
