The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
In an outpatient setting, supports standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership
FT Position Monday-Friday, Days, No Weekends/Holidays
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, experienced RN to join our innovative leadership team. If you have a strong interest in cardiology and are looking to be a part of a fast-paced clinic caring for patients in a variety of roles, this is the position for you. Our nurses rely on their strong assessment and critical thinking skills when caring for patients in the office and via telephone triage. They collaborate with all members of the care team to provide the highest quality and comprehensive care. Responsibilities include direct oversight of nursing and technician team, staffing, performance management, supportive with direct patient care and interprofessional collaboration with ambulatory leadership, administration, Lead APP and medical director to achieve departmental goals and enhance care delivery. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced clinic setting while providing quality service excellence to all customers. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care. Our patient population currently includes clinical cardiology, heart failure, advanced heart failure, VAD, pre/pot heart transplant, and structural heart patients. We are located on the ground floor of the ambulatory tower. Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years or RN experience.
