Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
Profession: Registered Nurse

Experience: 2 Years of Interventional Radiology Nursing, Telemetry Experience Required

Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association)
Must-Have: RN License (New York ONLY), BLS, ACLS, Two Years Experience, Telemetry Experience
Description:
This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 trauma center.
We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan.
Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care.
Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required.
This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of diagnostic imaging.
We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-ray, and ultrasound.
Good communication skills, as well as the ability to critically think, are essential.

Medical/surgical and telemetry experience are preferred.
The RN is responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for interventional radiology patients.
Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure is required.
