Job Description:
- Provide professional nursing care in an operating room environment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Prepare operating room for procedures by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor patient vitals and communicate any changes to the surgical team promptly.
- Adhere to sterile techniques during procedures to prevent contamination and infection.
- Document patient data and care activities accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.
- Participate in training and orientation sessions to stay current with surgical procedures and protocols.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Cultivate a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
