Raymond West is looking for an enthusiastic Recruiting Manager to join our team! The Recruiting Manager will provide leadership to the Recruiting department and will also develop and establish recruiting strategies, processes, tactics, and procedures while managing recruitment services for an organization. The Recruiting Manager will also develop, implement, and evaluate the recruiting practices and procedures supervise and coordinate recruiting and staffing activities, and develop recruiting resources and tools to attract top talent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.
  • Manage staff in an assigned area to include planning and assigning projects/tasks to staff, making hiring, separation, and disciplinary recommendations, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Ensure staff development and coordinate training programs for new staff and identify training needs for current staff.
  • Provide leadership for assigned staff.
  • Manage employee's timecards utilizing the company's Time and Attendance system.
  • Manage the operational activities within the Recruiting Department
  • Develop, organize, implement, and oversee programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure achievement of Recruiting goals
  • Render decisions with respect to key department issues impacting overall service and performance.
  • Provide input to senior leadership for annual budgets.
  • Direct and prepare reports for Human Resources Senior leadership.
  • Participate in Company or Department projects.
  • Ensure employees and team are following all Company Policies
  • Works closely with other departments and communicates with all levels of employees, customers, and Manufacturers both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates drive and initiative.
  • Maintains a professional attitude in all matters.
  • Correspond with Vendors and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently.
  • Assists in establishing recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs
  • Builds applicant sources by working with staff in researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport
  • Organizes and manages all career fair events
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging and meals, escorting applicant to interviews; arranging facility tours
  • Works with external recruiters on company recruiting needs
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; provides input to HR on market wage rates from candidates and emphasizing benefits and perks
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training
  • Updates Job Knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume


Education/Experience:

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, similar or related Industry preferred
  • Prior management experience preferred


Travel Requirement:
  • 10% (4 hours a week)
  • Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.

Pay Range:
  • The salary range for this position is $88,500 - $150,700. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.


Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
