Client has an opening for ARVR R&D engineering. Candidate will be responsible for
Conduct R&D in the areas of spatial computing, distributed architect, computer vision, graphic rendering, avatar animation, AI/Client modeling, and other technical areas related to XR and Metaverse.
Industrial and academic collaboration, and professional community involvement.
Internal XR platform prototype development with collaborating with the team to understand system and algorithm requirements and design appropriate solutions for image, video, and 3D data acquisition, organization and management and implement data models, schemas, and metadata structures.
conducting performance tuning and optimization to maximize system and algorithm development efficiency.
Design and implement demonstration systems; and create new features, from a technical specification or a reference implementation.
Prototype, implement and evaluate application algorithms; and optimize application or algorithm performance through analysis, code refactoring, and system tuning.
Support ARVR, computer graphics, and video technology research initiatives and implement leading-edge technologies with best practices.
Requirements:
MS & PhD in Computer Science, EE, or related fields
Proven experience in academic research and publication
Strong knowledge in software development in related fields with hands-on experiences
Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++, Python
Knowledge and hands-on experience in ARVR system, computer graphic, computer vision, or machine learning algorithms is a strong plus
Industrial experience a plus, particularly the experience with OpenGL, OpenCV, and
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills and teamwork abilities
Eagerness to learn new technologies
