Primary Function
Under general direction, plans, directs, coordinates and assists with the implementation and administration of public benefit programs and ensures growth objectives are met in the implementation of programs and services among industrial, commercial, and residential energy users; researches and performs analysis of customer energy usage, energy rates, returns-on-investment, market segmentation, system loads, and other measures; develops programs to reduce on-peak electric system demand and increase the conservation of electricity. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, public administration, marketing, finance, economics, or a related field and five years' experience in managing marketing, customer service, or public relations, and strategies, applications, and technologies involved in energy conservation and efficiency with a utility desired.
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education managing marketing, customer service, or public relations, and strategies, applications, and technologies involved in energy conservation and efficiency with a utility.
Licensing & Certification Requirements
A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.
Other Requirements/Testing
A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
