Senior Internal Auditor (Hybrid)

Position Summary:

Ready to be an integral member of the Internal Audit team? As the Senior Internal Auditor, you will assist in the management of the company's internal and external audit activities for the United States and Mexico sites. Utilizing the department's electronic workpaper system, your project management skills and high degree of judgment and initiative, you will ensure financial regulatory requirements are met.

Are You Looking To:

• Assist the Director of Internal Audit in designing and executing audit programs to ensure compliance with applicable financial regulatory requirements
• Travel to sites within the US and the occasional travel to Mexico
• Manage external consultants that are engaged to assist in the field work
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Are You Ready To:

• Assist the Director of Internal Audit in the development of the internal audit risk assessment on an annual basis
• Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Serves as an internal consultant to various local Finance teams to evaluate processes and procedures
• Evaluate organizational needs and drives improvements in business processes to eliminate waste and improve overall controls

Job Requirements:

What You'll Need:

• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field from a four-year college or university, CPA, CIA or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum four years related experience in internal controls testing
• Solid understanding of auditing, US GAAP and current SEC requirements
• Must be able to work independently
• Some experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Regular communication required, talking and hearing
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

Benefits:

• Compensation range: $95,000 - $124,000
