What You Will Do
We are seeking a Financial Analyst ideally based in our Boulder, CO office 3 days a week and reporting into our CFO. This individual will support monthly financial closes, budget reconciliation, and forecasting, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external auditors. They will also play a key role in managing FP&A deliverables, KPI reporting, and analyzing financial trends to inform business decisions. In addition, this person will drive financial analysis for special projects, assist the CFO in preparing annual operating plans and financial insights to leadership.

The total compensation for this position including base salary and target variable compensation is in the range of $85K to $105K.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and budget reconciliation processes
- Manage FP&A deliverables, KPI reporting, and monthly/quarterly forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and review financial forecasts and budgets
- Perform analysis of financial data, including COGS calculations, broker commissions, and T&E expenses, mix analysis, and other as needed
- Identify financial trends and provide actionable insights to improve performance
- Support CFO with financial reviews and ad-hoc analysis requests
- Support cross-functional projects, including pricing, profitability analysis, and investments
- Ensure accuracy in reporting, resolving unusual items and issues in a timely manner
- Maintain and manage data flow across financial system, platforms and data sources

Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, operations analysis, accounting, M&A or auditing; CPG experience a plus
- High proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of medium-to-advanced formulas, navigation through existing models and ability to build new OR Advanced Excel skills: demonstrated ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets; advanced knowledge of Excel functions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working with leadership teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an entrepreneurial environment
- Experience in preparing and presenting financial forecasts and business plans
