ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr. Manager FP&A will perform a wide range of duties that may include, but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to long-term financial and strategic plan
• Create, update, and maintain a three-statement model
• Work with management to build their annual budgets and forecasts
• Produce models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
• Deliver competitor analysis, market trends, and associated commentary to the Leadership team
• Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance
• Utilize BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
• Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results
• Review operations and recommend new productivity or cost saving initiatives
• Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
• Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
• Evaluate previous budgets and expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
• Communicate results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
• Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts, and profitability

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline required

Experience:

• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant analytical experience

• Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:

• Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
• Strong quantitative abilities
• Able to solve complex problems
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
• High level of financial acumen
• Professional qualification such as CPA is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Works primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
• Sedentary, sitting, walking
• Sits for extended periods of time
• Occasional Travel
• Must have sufficient visual acuity to be able to work, for prolonged periods of time, on a computer monitor
