The Digital Experience team is transforming how people purchase and interact with automotive and energy products. Our team comprises product engineers, business analysts, UX designers, and full-stack software engineers working together to create seamless solutions to complex problems. We run lean, move quickly, and pride ourselves on accelerating Tesla from start-up to scaled enterprise without losing our scrappy spirit.
We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to build, drive and own our enterprise business platform, Tesla for Business. This is a global product that allows enterprise customers of all sizes to seamlessly manage their fleets of cars, chargers, and other Tesla products via a Tesla user interface or their own internal tools through integration with Tesla APIs. This Product Engineer will apply first principles thinking to come up with elegant, innovative solutions that address customer pain points while striving to push the industry forward.
You will need to have technical proficiency, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience driving enterprise software solutions to completion.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver product vision, strategy, and roadmap and define a set of KPIs to measure business impact with the ability to analyze and utilize them in the decision-making processes
- Influence technical solutions through first principles thinking and problem solving
- Work with engineering, UX, and stakeholders from sales, service, and delivery to delivery measurable value through Tesla for Business
- Work with engineering teams to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but also considers future growth scenarios
- Manage incoming operational escalations, analyze issues, and implement long-term solutions that make the platform more operationally efficient
- Reduce operational work by automating processes and providing self-serve business tools
- Prioritize between existing versus new customers, and between features, architectural improvements and operational excellence
- Monitor technical metrics and search through logs to help diagnose potential issues
- Participate in and contribute to technical discussions; understand the technical architecture of Tesla for Business
- Analyze product performance through technical logs and other data sources to assist in troubleshooting and enhancing our products
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or software engineering as well as in shipping quality enterprise products that had customer & business impact with evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience
- Ability to balance user-centricity with engineering complexity to create solutions that elegantly solve customer pain points in the most efficient way possible
- Ability to write SQL queries and navigate complex databases
- Strong analytical skills with ability to query data from various systems to solve problems
- Passionate about working with other businesses and partners to solve their specific challenges
- Ability to search through logs to identify potential issues and find root causes when errors occur
- Proven history of converting learnings from customer insights into tangible product features that customers love while balancing the goals of the company
- Entrepreneurial instincts with clear bias for informed action and track record of leading new initiatives with limited resources and support
- Ability to successfully work with cross range of teams including engineering, UX, legal, finance, sales and operations
- Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders

$108,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
