Centurion Consulting Group is looking for a Command & Control (C2) - Directorate Support Analyst for a long term federal government project. This position is Hybrid, with some onsite in Alexandria, VA. This is open to US Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance.
Role overview:
Provide support to optimize mission applications and hosting to enable warfighting through Joint C2 Policy and Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) oversight.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of enterprise strategy, policy, programmatic, requirements, capability, and resource analysis applicable to joint and Component-level C2 capabilities including C2 applications, services, and infrastructure in all domains (air, land, maritime, space, and cyberspace).
Provide assessments of compliance with Department guidance, mandates, and standards; technology insertion; performance and scalability; and interoperability. Develop joint C2 analytical products that provide a detailed comprehensive analysis of associated C2 systems, and identify critical capabilities, capability gaps, and roadmaps to guide the strategic and incremental evolution and modernization of joint C2 capabilities within all operating environments.
Conduct technical assessments of all relevant DoD policies that address or impact C2 capabilities and prepare technical reports summarizing the findings.
Research and analyze existing Department policy and strategy, relevant domestic and international agreements, current and planned joint C2 systems, evolving threats, and technical opportunities to provide recommendations for policies to address identified issues in support of DoD CIO objectives for the joint C2 capability area.
Provide a crucial piece of the overall joint C2 capability analysis that is necessary to develop a comprehensive set of policies and processes to fill gaps identified with the overall goal of ensuring enhancements to future joint C2 capabilities.
Provide technical evaluation and analysis of associated coalition C2 policies and programs to enhance C2 interoperability, and analysis of non-C2 specific policies and strategies that impact joint C2 capabilities. Required Skills:
Solid experience in command-and-control (C2) systems analysis and portfolio management.
Proven aptitude to deliver proficient technical advice and support to the DoD CIO C2 organization.
Working knowledge of DoD policies and guidelines regarding command and control (C2) capabilities.
Experience providing support to command and control (C2) systems such as the Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Family of Systems, Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), Deployable Joint Command and Control System (DJC2), Air Operations Center Weapons System, tactical C2 systems, Command Post Computing Environment, Maritime Tactical C2 (MTC2), and the Joint Battle Command-Platform.
Must be operationally oriented and able to multitask/prioritize work in a high-volume environment.
Expert in process improvement initiatives and their implementations.
Proven records of strategy development and implementation.
Working knowledge of development policies and guidelines.
Team player with a positive and professional demeanor, strong customer service awareness, and excellent organizational skills.
Flexible and forward-leaning especially with regards to operations and planning.
Excellent analytical skills.
Agility with task management, coordination, and execution.
Solid knowledge of MS Office suite especially with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to multitask and execute directives effectively and with little supervision.
Exceptional communications, staffing, and decision-making skills.
Ability to share information and guide activities productively.
Superior presentation skills.
Experience with interacting with Government officials and senior military personnel.
Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
Confident and self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
Expertise in dealing with DoD operations and processes.
Good writing and briefing skills.
Master's degree and 12 years of experience or 18 years of experience without the degree.
