Location: This position is remote.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with software and systems engineering in all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with architecting, engineering, performance and capacity, deployment standards in production, product integration, product support, overall fitment, such as product usage, and setting up data management environments
- Experience with developing ETL and data pipelines
- Experience with data modeling, schema configuration, data quality, and standardization techniques
- Experience with PL/SQL, SQL, or Shell scripting
- Ability to work in a big data or data lake environment
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly, demonstrate technical solutions, standards, and best practices, and communicate with multiple functional groups
Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:
- Expertise with AWS cloud application development, Trifacta, Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Enterprise Data Management, MDM Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Solution, System Integrator (SI) Relationship, Enterprise Reference 360, and Enterprise Data Governance
- Experience with data lake or data warehouse technologies, including Databricks
- Experience with AWS cloud native services for big data storage and processing
- Experience with large-scale, distributed systems design and development
- Knowledge of scaling, performance, and scheduling
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to details, documentation and SOP definition
Clearance:
- Public trust clearance is required, but an active IRS MBI clearance is preferred.
