Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Therapy - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 08:00-17:00, some Sundays, weekends
Guaranteed Hours: 32 weekly
Experience: Minimum 2 years in rehabilitation
License: Must be licensed in Oklahoma
Certifications: None required
Must-Have: Rehabilitation experience, organized, fast-paced, ability to develop good rapport with patients and staff
Job Description:
- Work in a state-of-the-art treatment facility designed to promote recuperation outside the traditional hospital setting.
- Utilize a wide range of therapy tools, including large modern-equipped therapy gyms and a robotic exoskeleton, to help patients recover from various conditions such as strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
- Engage in a naturally sunlit environment with private rooms and an expansive therapy courtyard.
- Facilitate therapy sessions incorporating tools like the REAL y-Series virtual reality rehab tool to tailor rehabilitation to individual patient needs.
- Provide customized, intense rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of patients recovering from stroke, neurological conditions, trauma, and orthopedic injuries.
- Be part of a team that is accredited by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality, ensuring top-level care and safety.
- Serve a diverse adult patient population with a range of common diagnoses including CVA, amputee, orthopedic, back surgeries, and brain injuries.
- Operate EHR systems such as UDS/epic and use equipment including lift and SPH equipment, vector, biodex balance, and bioness L300.
First Day Instructions: Wear black scrubs and report at 8:00 am. Upon arrival, ask for Natasha Lavato.
