The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time, Planning and Integration Manager (GG-0301-13), to perform as the Assistance Director of Operations (ADO), at the 318th Cyberspace Operations Group (COG), Operating Location "B" (OL-B), Norfolk Naval Station, Virginia. POSITION LOCATION: Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) in San Antonio, Texas.
Salary ($104,887 - $136,357) based on experience.
This position is a Cyber Excepted Service (CES) position implemented under Section 1599F, Title 10 United States Code (USC).
Required 3-year probationary period for new Federal government appointments.
CES applies and documents Veterans' Preference IAW Department of Defense (DoDI) 1400.25, Volume 3005.

Qualifications/RequirementsIn this position you will serve as Assistant Director of Operations (ADO) of the 318 COG OL-B, Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR). The position will also serve as the Environment Operations Branch Deputy, and Current Operations Chief.
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain & maintain a "Top Secret / SCI" Security clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance Management, Level II (IAM, Level II) certification. This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position. This position requires at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Expert-level knowledge of military (including command level) program goals and objectives; the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of the various command entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operations and evaluations. Knowledge of operational activities (such as special operations, personnel recovery, airlift, etc...), weapon systems, and command, control, and mission process, systems, and applications. Knowledge of IT systems analysis, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to plan and integrate disparate cyber systems and IT infrastructure into highly complex global environments supporting force development, mission rehearsals, test and development. Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application software development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty and with little specificity regarding approach to be followed. Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
