Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: AM 8 hours, Monday to Friday, start times vary from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. based on procedures

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Experience: PACU and Pre-Op experience required; Orthopedic experience preferred

License: GA or Compact License in hand

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:

- PACU and Pre-Op experience
- GA or Compact License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Orthopedic experience (preferred)

Job Description:

- Work schedule is Monday to Friday with varying start times between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call duties required.
- Potential to float between Ambulatory Surgery Centers within a 15-mile radius based on need, although this is not frequent.
- Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
