Description:

The Meta Reality Labs Product Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about building and marketing innovative social immersive products and experiences that inspire meaningful human connection, creation and self expression. This position will join a team responsible for both driving product market fit and growth for Horizon on both VR and mobile as part of the Horizon Experience product marketing team. Our ideal candidate is analytical and creative, and can transition between tactical project work as well as strategic influence with product leaders. This product marketing team is focused on the inbound phase of product marketing and the strategy that informs outbound marketing with internal partners. Inbound product marketing responsibilities include foundational analysis to identify market needs by segment, opportunity sizing, gathering feedback from internal and external stakeholders, and representing the customer within the product team.

Product Marketing Manager, Horizon Experiences Responsibilities

  • Shape product roadmaps through market & customer research, competitive analyses, audience segmentation & sizing, and dives into audience needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute product launch and go-to-market efforts. Drive target audience definition, value proposition & messaging development, content creation, and GTM channel activation across audiences to achieve awareness, adoption, and retention goals.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the VR and mobile ecosystem for users and be the advocate of the market within the organization


Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or relatable experience
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders (e.g., product managers, engineers, data science, legal, partnerships, user experience research) in an entrepreneurial, fast moving environment
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps through relevant research and analysis
  • Experience launching products: creating detailed go-to-market plans including audience definition, positioning statements, clearly defined value propositions, and collaborating with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Legal, Comms, etc.) to identify & execute marketing channels/activations


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA degree
  • Experience with building and launching products with the avatar and gaming spaces
  • Experience working cross-functionally on ambiguous 0→1 projects within a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Balance of creative and analytical thinking, putting forth best-in-class execution within a measurable and data-driven framework
  • Interest for and understanding of avatars and virtual economies

$128,000/year to $186,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
