We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Recruiting Specialist to help attract and hire top talent to support our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, serve as a brand ambassador for Kailera, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting in the biotech or pharmaceutical space, a strong network, and a passion for building teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will bring a data-driven approach to talent acquisition, leveraging analytics to inform hiring strategies and ensure a seamless candidate experience. With an HR-minded perspective, you will contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Execution: Partner with the team to support Kailera's hiring needs by managing full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Employer Brand Advocate: Represent Kailera as a brand ambassador by fostering positive candidate experiences and showcasing our company culture. Leverage social media platforms to enhance our employer brand and attract top talent.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize creative and effective sourcing strategies, including leveraging networks, job boards, and social media, to identify top talent in the biotech industry.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze recruitment metrics and use data to inform and optimize sourcing strategies, hiring processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Reporting & Insights: Develop and maintain recruitment reports to track key metrics such as time-to-hire, candidate pipeline health, and source effectiveness, sharing insights with the team to guide decision-making.
- Recruitment Partner: Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing guidance on recruitment best practices and market insights to help them make informed hiring decisions.
- Process Improvement: Support the refinement of scalable recruiting processes to enhance efficiency and ensure consistency across all roles.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on talent market trends in the biotech space to help attract and retain top talent while maintaining a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience with a proven track record of successfully sourcing, engaging, and hiring top talent, particularly in specialized technical fields
- Expert in talent sourcing: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain robust candidate pipelines through creative and data-driven sourcing strategies, leveraging multiple channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, and headhunting)
- Strong network within the biotech industry with a deep understanding of the talent landscape, enabling the identification and attraction of highly qualified candidates for niche roles
- HR and business-minded approach: A strategic partner who aligns talent acquisition efforts with organizational objectives, ensuring recruitment strategies are designed to support both business growth and HR goals
- Hands-on approach: Skilled in managing a high-volume requisition load while directly supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely and quality hires
- Experience developing and implementing scalable recruiting strategies that enhance recruitment efficiency, improve the overall candidate experience, and drive business success
- Exceptional stakeholder management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with hiring managers, senior leadership, and the broader People & Culture team to align on hiring needs and drive recruitment goals
- Maintaining candidate relationships: Skilled at building long-term relationships with candidates, keeping them engaged and informed throughout the recruitment process and beyond, ensuring a positive candidate experience and future talent pipeline
- Employer branding expertise: Proven ability to lead employer branding initiatives and leverage social media platforms to attract top talent and increase Kailera's visibility in the talent market
- Data-driven mindset: Ability to analyze and interpret recruitment metrics to inform decision-making, optimize sourcing strategies, and refine recruitment processes for continuous improvement
- Process improvement: Experience designing and implementing recruitment workflows and processes that ensure consistency, fairness, and efficiency, while meeting the evolving needs of the business
Preferred Qualifications:
- Biotech/Pharma experience with a focus on clinical-stage organizations preferred
- Previous experience in technical recruitment and/or agency recruitment preferred
- Familiarity with Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System or similar tools strongly preferred
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
