Position Overview
The Senior Electrical Estimator plays a crucial role in the bidding process for electrical construction projects. This position requires a detailed understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and cost estimation techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing.
• Review and reconcile estimates with project budgets and financial forecasts.
• Participate in bid meetings and present estimates to stakeholders.
• Monitor changes in project scope and adjust estimates accordingly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the electrical construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation.
• Familiarity with relevant software for estimation and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in commercial construction is a plus.
