Highly skilled and experienced Real Estate & Construction Manager to oversee all real estate and construction projects within our healthcare organization. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and cost-effective development, renovation, and maintenance of our facilities.

This job operates in a remote work environment, with travel required 60-80% of the time within Connecticut or Westchester County, NY areas.

The duties shall include, but not be limited to:
Real Estate Strategy:
- Develop and implement a long-term real estate strategy aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential real estate opportunities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and lease negotiations.
- Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including property assessments and legal/lease reviews.
- Manage real estate portfolio, including lease administration issues and Landlord relations.
Construction Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to construction and occupancy.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Select and manage contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and healthcare facility standards.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays.
Facility Maintenance and Operations:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive facility and equipment maintenance plan including preventative maintenance programs.
- Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of healthcare facilities.
- Manage capital improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for real estate and construction projects.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with real estate and construction projects.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
Competencies:
- Proven record of accomplishment of successful project management and leadership.
- Strong understanding of healthcare facility design and construction standards.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and financial analysis tools.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
