The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.
Position Summary:
Lead system Productivity Enhancement Program through partnership with Finance and Operations leadership to optimize operational efficiency and resource utilization to include Expense Management process. Oversee the standardization of key functional/ancillary areas via the Operational Enhancement process. Drive collaboration between cross-functional leaders (finance, HR, IT, etc.) to strategically guide co-dependent initiatives to completion. Maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to solicit feedback and ensure a smooth and timely implementation of new productivity tool. Oversee the creation & distribution of standardized operational productivity reports to guide data-driven decision making across the organization. Ensure the right stakeholders are engaged.
Position Responsibilities:
Key Areas of Responsibility
Align current and future productivity tools (& the associated measurement practices) with the organization's current and future goals. Responsible for planning, functionality, performance, preparing and executing new Strata productivity tool.
Manage Productivity Program; inform, educate, and assist system leaders in understanding the foundational concepts of productivity. Streamline data standardization process & assist in the creation and delivery of related training/educational materials and operational reports.
Partner with Finance & Procurement to lead the Expense Management program identifying initiatives through tracking of realized benefit, distribute system reports, and identify/implement improvement opportunities with system-wide partners and/or initiatives (Supply Chain, Clinical Care Redesign, etc.)
Collaborate with leaders from each Operational Enhancement workgroup to ensure timely progress toward desired outcomes; assist with obtaining access to data, tools, and other resources
Engage teams and project stakeholders to identify & capitalize on new/innovative opportunities created by the practices & enriched data resulting from the Productivity Enhancement Program.
Develop & Maintain productivity benchmarks and KPIs for Health system in order to ensure that the health system delivers high-quality patient care while maintaining cost-effective operations through proper Productivity program management.
Perform other related duties as required

If applicable, describe nature of supervision of any External vendors, contractors, affiliate organizations, etc.
Productivity program with Strata Insight tool and external support from Strata, Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) and possibly other external vendors providing benchmark/other data & analyses.
Qualifications:
Requirements and Specifications:
Education
Minimum:Bachelor's Degree in public health, computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, finance, accounting or related field
Preferred: Master's Degree in public health, computer science, MIS, business administration, healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Experience
Minimum: Two to four years of management experience in planning, productivity, operations, and finance within a hospital or healthcare system. Experience in financial analysis and/or financial business development.
Preferred:
3-5 years progressive management experience working in productivity planning, operations, or finance within a hospital or healthcare system setting. Working knowledge of hospital and health system operations
Experience with business plan development and contract oversight and management.
Licensure, Certification, Registration
Minimum:Graduate Degree
Preferred: MBA, MHA, PMP
