IP Infusion Canada Inc. est la recherche d'un ingnieur en applications pour rejoindre notre quipe dynamique et en pleine croissance pour dvelopper et soutenir des applications de pointe axes sur le routage et la commutation en temps rel des couches 2 et 3 du rseau pour les marchs des fournisseurs de services, des centres de donnes et de la 5G. Le candidat retenu assurera un soutien en ingnierie des applications - y compris l'intgration de logiciels et de systmes - auprs des entreprises qui dveloppent des logiciels temps rel C/C++ pour les produits de mise en rseau en utilisant des structures de commutation ASIC Broadcom. Au sein de l'quipe IP Infusion Canada Inc., le candidat retenu sera charg d'assurer la direction technique pour le client ainsi que pour l'quipe d'ingnieurs de IP Infusion Canada Inc.

Responsabilits :

• Examiner la nouvelle conception du client axe sur les dispositifs de commutation Broadcom
• Rgler les problmes des clients lis au traitement des paquets et la gestion du trafic
• Collaborer avec l'quipe de recherche et dveloppement de Broadcom (architecte, PME, dveloppeurs) pour reproduire les problmes en laboratoire et pour identifier la solution
• Interagir directement avec le client pour rsoudre les problmes et pour confirmer la solution
• Participer aux amliorations et aux projets de dveloppement
• Contribuer la base de connaissances avec des tudes de cas

Comptences requises :

• Trs bonne comprhension des protocoles de commutation et de routage C2/C3.
• Connaissances en matire de cheminement des donnes et d'architecture de routage des paquets (Broadcom ou autre)
• Exprience pratique avec la gamme de commutateurs Broadcom StrataDNX et/ou StrataXGS
• Exprience en matire de dpannage d'applications bases sur Broadcom ou des SDK similaires.

Atouts :

• Exprience comme ingnieur en applications ou support technique concernant les commutateurs Broadcom ou des dispositifs similaires
• Exprience de travail pratique avec tout processeur de rseau
• Connaissance des protocoles et des structures de donnes du plan de contrle
• Exprience de la programmation en C ou en environnement Linux

IP Infusion Canada Inc. is looking for an Applications Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team developing and supporting Network Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing and switching based leading-edge real-time applications for service provider, data center, and 5G markets. The successful candidate will be providing application engineering support - including software and system integration - to companies developing embedded C/C++ real-time software for networking products using Broadcom switching fabric ASICs. As part of the IP Infusion Canada Inc. team, the successful candidate will be empowered to provide technical leadership to both the customer and IP Infusion Canada Inc. engineering team.

Responsibilities:

• Review customer's new design based on Broadcom switching devices
• Solve customer's tickets related to packet processing and traffic management
• Collaborate with Broadcom R&D team (architect, SME, developers) in reproducing the problems in the lab and identifying the solution
• Interact directly with the customer in troubleshooting the problems and validating the solution
• Contribute to enhancements and development projects
• Contribute to the knowledge database with case studies

Required Skills:

• Very good understanding of the L2/L3 switching and routing protocols.
• Knowledge in data path and packet forwarding architecture (Broadcom or other)
• Hands-on experience with the StrataDNX and/or StrataXGS series of Broadcom switches
• Experience in troubleshooting applications based on Broadcom or similar SDKs.

Assets:

• Experience as Application Engineer or Technical Support for Broadcom switches or similar devices
• Hands-on experience working with any Network processor
• Knowledge about control plane protocols and data structures
• Experience with C programming or Linux environment

• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken English
• Organized individual, capable of working independently
• Able to interact with customers and discuss their requirements and needs

Education and Experience:

• BSc or higher degree in CE/EE/CS or equivalent
